Legal Information
Last updated: 29 October 2026. This page sets out the legal information that applies to this website and to the professional services we provide. It is written in plain English so that visitors, customers and professional partners can understand who they are dealing with, what rules apply to the site, and how to raise a concern.
1. Who We Are and the Identity of the Website Operator
The website published at reportigo (the "Site") is owned, operated and maintained by Shoot Blue Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales. Shoot Blue Limited is the operator of the Site and is the entity responsible for its content, its technical upkeep and the commercial services advertised through it.
Where this page uses "we", "us" or "our", it refers to Shoot Blue Limited acting through the Site. Where it refers to "you", it means the visitor, reader, customer or professional contact accessing the Site.
The Site is a professional hub for live television production. It explores studio equipment integration, dynamic camera techniques, acoustic optimisation, lighting setups and reliable production processes for news programmes, interviews and live shows. We act as an information publisher, a supplier of professional equipment and production support, and — where agreed in writing — a provider of related services to the broadcast and media industry.
Because the Site has a commercial purpose, the identity of the operator must be clear at all times. Section 2 below therefore sets out the company details that are required to be disclosed under the Companies (Trading Disclosures) Regulations 2008, the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002, the Provision of Services Regulations 2009 and related UK legislation.
2. Legal Form, Registration Details, Tax Identifiers and Responsible Representatives
The following details identify the legal entity behind the Site. They are kept accurate and are reviewed whenever our registered particulars change.
- Full registered company name: Shoot Blue Limited (this is the registered name and is not merely a trading style).
- Legal form: private company limited by shares, incorporated under the law of England and Wales.
- Country of incorporation and place of registration: England and Wales, United Kingdom.
- Company Registration Number: 13033970.
- VAT Number: 494089156.
- Registered office address: Beaconsfield Studios, Station Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire HP9 1LG.
- Responsible representative: Jon Howarth, director.
- Principal business activity: rental and supply of camera, lighting and studio equipment, together with related technical and production support, for film, television and media production.
Where the Site refers to a trading or brand style that differs from the registered name, the registered name set out above is the entity with which any contract is formed. We do not use any regulated professional title, and we are not a member of a statutory professional body; where we are members of industry trade bodies or registers we disclose that membership on request.
Where the name of a director appears on this Site for identification purposes, we are required to state the names of all directors so that readers are not misled; that is why the directorship is disclosed in full above.
3. Registered Office and Available Contact Details
Our registered office, which is also the address for formal correspondence and for service of legal documents, is: Beaconsfield Studios, Station Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire HP9 1LG.
You can reach us by email at info@nfts.co.uk and by telephone at +44 1494 671234. These channels are monitored during normal UK business hours. Where an enquiry concerns a booking, a quotation or the condition of equipment already supplied, please include the relevant reference so that we can deal with the matter quickly.
The Site also provides a Contacts page with an enquiry form. The details you submit through that form are used only to respond to your enquiry and are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see section 9).
4. Purpose, Scope and Intended Audience of the Site
The Site exists to support professionals working in live television and studio production. Its purpose is to explain and demonstrate good practice in studio equipment integration, dynamic camera techniques, acoustic optimisation, lighting setups and dependable production processes for news programmes, interviews and live shows.
The intended audience is broadcast professionals, production companies, studio engineers, technical crews, freelancers, students of media production and procurement teams in the United Kingdom and, where our services are available, overseas. The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly market to anyone under the age of 18.
The Site is informational and commercial in nature. Nothing published on it is a substitute for site-specific technical advice, a formal risk assessment or the manufacturer's operating instructions for any item of equipment. Where a description on the Site conflicts with the specification supplied with equipment, the supplied specification prevails.
5. Access to the Site and Acceptable Use
We aim to keep the Site available at all times, but access is provided on a temporary basis and we may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the Site without notice where this is necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance or the protection of our equipment and intellectual property.
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable regulation, including broadcasting and communications rules;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any connected system or network;
- introduce viruses, malware, denial-of-service attacks or any other harmful material or code;
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract content, pricing or contact data from the Site;
- copy, reproduce, republish or redistribute substantial parts of the Site's content without our written permission;
- remove or obscure copyright, trade mark or other proprietary notices; or
- frame or mirror any part of the Site in a way that misrepresents your relationship with us.
We reserve the right to pursue any remedy available to us, including blocking access, terminating any account or relationships, and reporting conduct to the relevant authorities.
6. Ownership and Permitted Use of Content, Trade Marks and Other Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, diagrams, technical illustrations, photographs, video material, layouts, graphics, source code and the selection and arrangement of the content — is owned by or licensed to Shoot Blue Limited and is protected by copyright, database rights, design rights and trade mark law in the United Kingdom and internationally.
The name Shoot Blue Limited, its logo and any associated brand elements are trade marks or trade names of the company. Nothing on the Site grants you any licence or right to use them. You may not use our name, logo or any confusingly similar mark without our prior written consent.
You may view, download and print pages from the Site for your own internal professional use, provided you keep all proprietary notices intact and do not modify the material. Any other use — including commercial reproduction, publication, translation, adaptation or distribution — requires written permission from us. Requests may be sent to info@nfts.co.uk.
Content submitted by visitors through forms remains the property of the person submitting it, but you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it for the purpose for which it was supplied.
7. Accuracy, Availability and Proportionate Limitations of Liability
We take reasonable care to ensure that the information on the Site is accurate and up to date. Technical practice in live television production changes quickly, and equipment specifications, availability and pricing may change without notice. The Site is therefore provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and we do not warrant that every item of content is complete, current or suitable for your particular production.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for:
- any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated savings or loss of goodwill;
- any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site;
- any loss arising from reliance on general guidance published on the Site rather than on advice given specifically for your production; and
- any loss caused by viruses, distributed attacks or other technologically harmful material introduced by third parties.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Where goods or services are supplied to a consumer, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected.
Our equipment is used in demanding environments, and all items are supplied subject to the terms and conditions agreed for the hire or purchase concerned, including insurance, damage and return obligations.
8. External Links and Third-Party Content
The Site may contain links to websites, documents and resources operated by third parties, including equipment manufacturers, industry bodies and regulatory authorities. Those links are provided for convenience and reference only.
We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, security, privacy practices or compliance with the law. A link does not imply endorsement of the third party, its products or its views. If you choose to follow an external link, you do so at your own risk and should review the terms and privacy notice of the destination site before using it.
Where third-party material (for example manufacturers' specifications or stock imagery) is reproduced on the Site, it is used with permission or under an applicable licence, and the rights of the owner are acknowledged.
9. Data Protection, Privacy and Cookies
We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). Shoot Blue Limited is the data controller for the personal data collected through the Site.
Personal data is collected when you complete the enquiry form, contact us by email or telephone, request a quotation, or interact with the Site's analytics and cookie features. We use that data to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, administer orders and hire agreements, meet our accounting and legal obligations, and improve the Site.
Our lawful bases are normally performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests in running and promoting our business; where consent is required (for example, for non-essential cookies) we will ask for it first and you may withdraw it at any time.
The Site uses a site-wide cookie banner. Non-essential cookies — including analytics, advertising pixels, behavioural tracking and retargeting technologies — are set only after you give valid consent. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies, change your choice at any time through the banner, and configure your browser to block or delete cookies, although some parts of the Site may then work less well.
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and the right to withdraw consent. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Full detail, including retention periods and the third parties with whom data may be shared, is set out in our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy, which are available from the Site and form no part of the trading terms.
10. Trading Terms, Orders, Payment and Refunds
Any supply of equipment, production support or other services by Shoot Blue Limited is governed by our written Terms and Conditions of Business and by the quotation, hire agreement or order confirmation issued for the particular job. Those documents set out the hire period, delivery and collection arrangements, risk and insurance obligations, cancellation charges, and the company's responsibility for loss or damage.
Details of accepted payment methods, invoicing, deposits, late payment interest, cancellation windows and refund entitlement are set out in our Payment and Refund Policy. Where you deal with us as a consumer, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply, and you will be given the required pre-contract information, including a model cancellation form where a right to cancel exists.
Nothing on this Site constitutes an offer capable of acceptance. A contract is formed only when we issue a written confirmation or hire agreement. Pricing and availability shown on the Site are indicative unless expressly confirmed in writing.
11. Corporate Responsibility Statements
We publish a Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement describing the steps we take to prevent slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. The statement is reviewed each financial year and is available on request and from the Site. We also maintain a Sustainability Policy, which records our approach to energy use, waste and responsible equipment lifecycles in studio and location production.
12. Applicable Law, Competent Courts and Consumer Dispute Rights
This legal information page, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Site or its use, is governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that where you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK in which you live.
Nothing in this section affects your right to bring a complaint to a competent authority or to use any alternative dispute resolution route that is available to you. Where a dispute concerns goods or services supplied to a consumer, you may also contact Citizens Advice or your local Trading Standards service. We would always prefer to resolve a concern directly first, and we ask you to contact us before escalating a matter.
If a court or regulator finds any part of this page unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
13. Contact Route, Changes to This Page and Last-Updated Date
We may update this legal information page from time to time to reflect changes in our company details, our services, our suppliers or the law. The version published on the Site at the time of your visit is the version that applies. Material changes will be indicated by a new "last updated" date at the top of the page.
If you have a question about the information on this page, wish to exercise a data protection right, or need to notify us of a legal or contractual matter, please use the contact details below or the form on our Contacts page.
